Obituary of Jeanne R. McLaughlin
McLAUGHLIN JEANNE R. – Unexpectedly at her residence in St. Stephen, NB on Sunday, February 18th, 2018; Jeanne Rita ( LeBlanc) McLaughlin. Born in Moncton, NB she is the daughter of Lucille (Landry) LeBlanc and the late Ernest Joseph LeBlanc. Jeanne was a very spirited person who loved to interact with so many people, through attending so many of the church suppers held throughout St. Stephen. Whether it was attending services at the Vineyard Church or perhaps a coffee house held there monthly or to attend the wellness clinics held weekly at the Garcelon Civic Centre, she dearly loved the fellowship and all those she met. Surviving in addition to her mother Lucille LeBlanc is her daughter Tina Kernighan (Eddie Westin) of St. Stephen, her 2 grandchildren Tony and Candace Kernighan, 1 great grandchild Cameryn Kernighan, several sisters and brothers, Rose Patterson of Saint John, NB; Patricia LeBlanc of Hamilton, ON, Ernest LeBlanc Jr. (Donna) of Saint John, NB; Joe LeBlanc (Angela) of Back Bay, NB, Bernie LeBlanc (Beth) of St. George, NB and Louise LeBlanc (Jeff) of Pennfield, NB, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Jeanne was predeceased by her husband Harry Hussick. By Jeanne’s request the family will receive friends during a celebration of her life to be held on Friday, February 23rd, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 9 Queen Street St Stephen, NB. A special tribute to Jeanne will be given at 3:00 pm by Geordie Hull. In lieu of flowers the family would like you to give donations in Jeanne’s memory to the Living Memorial Program.
