Obituary of Randolph Charles Carter

Carter, Randolph Charles

A wonderful Husband of 58 years, father of four boys, grandfather, great grandfather (Pappy) and lover of all things chocolate, plain potato chips and Coca Cola.

It's with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Randolph Charles Carter on May 24, 2024 at Charlotte County Hospital. Born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia on July 2, 1949 to Charles and Iris Carter.

Randy met and married his soulmate Kathleen in Ontario in 1966 before coming to settle in Moores Mills, New Brunswick in 1969. Before retirement he spent almost 20 years working for Commissionaires at the St Andrews Biological Station. Randy’s favourite pastime was watching/reading westerns, but most of all, he enjoyed watching over his great grandchildren.

Left to mourn his loss is his wife, Kathleen Carter. Sons Michael Carter (Cheryl), Thomas Carter, Robert Carter (Jeanne), Jamie Carter (Paul). Grandchildren Alicia (Daniel), Jessica (David), Kyle, Bradley, Mikayla, Patricia, Elena, Devon. And his favourite little humans who stole his heart and kept him going: Great-grandchildren Harleigh, Ryleigh, Emersyn and Elijah. Siblings Deanna Longaphy (Dale), Arthur Carter (Kathy), Donny Carter (Mary), Billy Carter (Rita), Brenda Carter Murphy (Kevin), Nancy Curran (Darryl), and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Extra Mural, ambulance NB and the CCH ER staff for their care and compassion.

A graveside service will be held at the Moores Mills Rural Cemetery on Friday, May 31, 2024 at 1 pm.
