Brown, Tanya
In the year 1959, Don and Bea Trimper were blessed with a beautiful daughter, Tanya May, who was born in Digby, NS. She became the oldest sister to Bev, Donna, and Wes. Tanya loved her siblings, and she was their go to and anchor. She gave them unconditional love and acceptance.
Tanya met the love of her life, Steve, while at college, they were married in 1980 and they were gifted with two sons, Jayme, and Jessey whom she treasured. Tanya was devoted to motherhood and proudly raised strong, selfless men.
The next joy in Tanya’s life was her new daughter, Jessica, who Jayme married, and they gave Tanya her six grandbabies. She was Nan to Dakota, Dylan, Darius, Gabriel, Caton and Caspian. Tanya fiercely loved her grandchildren. They were her world.
Tanya loved her job at the library, she said it was never a job, but a delight. She delighted in meeting new moms, babies, and people. She was excited to hear their story and became engaged in their journey. People brought her as much joy as she gave them.
Tanya was predeceased by her father, Don. She is survived by her beloved husband, Steve, sons Jaym (Jess) and J. She will be remembered by her six beautiful grandbabies, her mother Bea, siblings Bob (Zydric), Nonnie (Keith) and Wes (Leanne). As well as her nieces and nephews who adored her.
Our Tan walked closely with God. She always saw Jesus in people and places that others couldn’t see. She exuded mercy, grace, and compassion. Her purpose in life was to represent Jesus in all she did and said. This was not the ending to the story that her family had anticipated, but on May 6, 2024, we lost our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Knowing she is home with Jesus brings us great hope and peace.
