Chan, Kwan Wai Borelli “Jacky”
Passed away suddenly of a heart attack on Sunday December 10, 2023, in St. Andrews New-Brunswick. Born in Hong Kong, Jacky was the son of the late Por Chan and Choi Hing Leung.
Survived by his wife Yan Fanny Cheung, his daughter Tsz Lam Analise Chan, his siblings; Kwan Lan Chan, Kwan Ping, Kwan Ling (Yu Cheung Chan), Kwan Pang, Kwan Hung Anita (Steve Laird), his brother-in-law Wai Kwong Alan Cheung and many nieces and nephews.
Jacky was a paralegal in Hong Kong for over 30 years, before making the decision to move his young family to Canada in search of a better life in July of 2020. He had a passion for traveling, especially Japan and loved Lego and meeting with friends. Above all he was an excellent father and good husband, who will be deeply missed.
Cremation will take place after a time of visitation on Friday December 15th, 2023 from 10-11AM at Humphreys Funeral Home (20 Marks Street St. Stephen NB E3L 2B2).
For those who wish donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Terry Fox Foundation, the St. Andrews Food Bank, St. Croix Blades Speed Skating Club, and the Vincent Massey Elementary School.
