Obituary of Mirjam Agatha Cossaboom

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Mirjam Cossaboom on November 14th, 2023, at the Grand Manan Nursing Home.
Mirjam was born May 3rd, 1946, in Holland to parents Leendert van Alphen and Agatha van Alphen.
Mirjam moved to Canada at the age of eighteen, where she then met her late husband, Neil Cossaboom. She would often be seen on the herring carrier with Neil and Cory. She drove the school bus for many years on White Head Island.
Mirjam loved her family more than anything. She enjoyed her 10am and 3pm coffee/tea time with family and friends. You could always spot Mirjam outside in her gardens, feeding the birds or out or long walks.
Mirjam is survived by her Daughter Patricia Greene (Mark), Grandson Eric Ingersoll, Granddaughter Kari Ingersoll (Andrew Connick). Step Granddaughter Ashley, Step Grandson Michael, Great Granddaughter Jacelyn Wilson, Great Grandson Tarrek Connick.
Brother Job van Alphen (Tiny), Nieces Helma Gerritson (Jeroen), Ageeth van Dijk (Jan Hielke) and many great nieces and nephews.
Mirjam was predeceased by her Husband Neil Cossaboom, son Cory Cossaboom, Father Leendert van Alphan, Mother Agatha van Alphan.
Visitation will be held at the White Head Baptist Church on Sunday November 19th, 2023, from 2:00pm-4:00pm.
