85 years old, passed peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday October 01, 2023. Born in Prince Edward Island, Wendell was the son of the late Arthur & Louise Stewart. Wendell will be missed by his wife Darlene Stewart, children Brenda Magoon (Mark), Judy Lowery, Bonnie Craig (Calvin) and Brian Stewart and by his sister Pearl Clark and their families. In addition to his parents Wendell was predeceased by his son Gordon Stewart (Wanda).

Wendell was an avid hockey fan, often staying up late to catch the west coast games, he enjoyed all things hockey, including junior and woman’s hockey, but no teams came close to competing with his joy for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

As per Wendell’s wishes cremation has taken place, a family celebration will be held at a later date.
