I am so sorry for your loss. Mom and her sister knew her from their days as children when they spent summers in Back Bay from Campobello Island when they were visiting with their Aunt Goldie Cook . Mom and her stayed in contact periodically and she always took the time to say hello to me when I saw her out and around.
I used to see her here at Tim Hortons in St. Stephen when I would dart in for coffee . We always had a little chat and she always asked how mom was doing - I will miss her she was a very nice, sensible, down to earth lady and was very kind to me . I hadn't seen her in a while and wondered where she was - my thoughts are with all of you on the passing of this special lady.

So sorry to hear that Lyda has passed. We were neighbors in the same Connors Bros' apartment building in Back Bay. That was fifty nine years ago. Life is short, make the best of it now. May our Lord bless all the family and comfort you at this sad time.

To all the family - We are so saddened to hear of Lydas passing. She was a great joker and she always wanted to know if Richard had dulse for her. I would stop to chat with her when I went to Passa and of course she didn’t remember me but I told her of a few times when we all had laughs together. Prayers and hugs to you all . Take care.
