Obituary of Dale H. Hallowell

HALLOWELL DALE H.  – It is with great sadness, the family of the late Dale Herbert Hallowell announce his passing at the Charlotte County Hospital in St. Stephen, NB on Saturday April 29th, 2023.

      Born in St. Stephen, NB. Dale had  a great passion for the simple things in life. “It just don’t matter” was his favorite phrase. He loved spending time with his family and friends and always enjoyed their company. He loved the outdoors and spending time at the camp at Cathance Lake, ME, U.S.A.

     He had a passion for wood working and enjoyed making doll houses and small log cabins for his grandchildren to play with.

   Dale also enjoyed picking tips in the woods behind their home on the four wheeler. Throughout the summer months for the past few years he loved going out on the back lawn with his grandchildren to pick raspberries and blackberries and in later years he loved  checking in on the garden, the goats and the chickens.

      Dale is survived by his loving wife Lorraine, his children Duane  (Wendy), Mark & family, Cheri, step children Matthew Stewart (Mandy), Andrew Stewart (Olive). His grandchildren, his buddy Greyson, Cadence, Sloane, Zachery (Delaney)Jami (Zach) Prosser, Micheal, his sister Betty Morrison and brother Donald Hallowell, cousins and friends.

       By Dale’s request there will be no service.  A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 27th, 2023 at 11:00 am US time, 12:00 noon Cdn time at Dennysville Cemetery, Dennysville, ME, USA.

      For those who wish, donations to the American or Canadian Cancer Society or to the MS Research Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
