It’s with great sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Darlene Worthen. Linda was born May 23, 1952 to the parents of Helen and Sidney Worthen of Grand Manan, NB.
Linda is survived by love of her life Michael of whom she spent the last 27 years making beautiful memories that will last a lifetime. Linda is also survived by her daughters Kyla (Chris) Marsters of Moncton, Donna (Ken) Higgins of Quispamsis, Candace Guptill of St. Andrews and son, Evan Guptill of Moncton.
Forever remembered by siblings Karen Worthen of Moncton, Charlene (Jeffrey)Jackson of Maine, Norris (Lorraine) Worthen, Karl (Tammy) Worthen, Larry Worthen and Kevin Worthen all of Grand Manan. Linda will also be remembered by her 8 grandchildren Jacquelyn, Julia, Jonathan, Chase, Riley,Dakota, Shylo and Karma who she loved very much, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Linda is predeceased by her parents, Helen & Sidney, as well as one brother, Douglas Worthen.
Linda was a beautiful person inside and out. She had a deep love for life in general with a free spirited heart to match. She found happiness in the simplest of things. She could often be found volunteering at Thrifty's with a big smile on her face. Linda loved spending time with Michael whether it be down on their piece of land or a nice evening drive. The kindness, compassion and love she had for others will shine on for years to come. Linda will truly be missed by so many.
The Family will welcome friends to attend a period of visitation on Wednesday May 17, 2023 from 7-9 PM at the Grand Harbour Baptist Church . Funeral service to be held the following day Thursday May 18, 2023 at 1:00 PM at the Grand Harbour Baptist Church.
