Obituary of Catherine J. Breton
BRETON CATHERINE J. passed peacefully at the Charlotte County Hospital on 25 day March 2023; Catherine Jane (Matthews) Breton, wife of Arthur David Breton of Campobello, NB. Born in St. Stephen,NB. She is the daughter of the late Medford & Alice (Stevens) Matthews.
Catherine worked at several different jobs throughout her life while raising a family. She worked with Connors Bros, Harbour de Lutre Salmon and Head Harbour Fisheries . Catherine loved to read and loved going to Church, and always enjoyed all kinds of sunsets and different flowers, lilacs being her favourite. If you ever wanted to put a smile on moms face, let one of the grandchildren walk in.
Catherine is survived by her husband Arthur, her children Medford of Campobello, NB, Sherry (Andre) Mallette of Quebec, Dwayne (Madonna) of Campobello, NB, Jennifer London of Hampton, NB, Robert Breton (Sonya) of Yarmouth, NS. Grandchildren Monica and Raymond, Melinda, Amanda, Nathan, Zona, Sheila, Naomi, Mallory, Macquire and Sage, Great Grandchildren Desiree and Gage, Ethan, Aidyn, Makenna, Rylee, Jordyn, Allie, Emmy, Harper and Brynn, Kyle, Krysten, Logan, Matty, Noah and Morgan, Landon and Peyton , Delaney, Jaylynn and JJ, Luna, Claire, Bryson and Matthew, GreatGreat Grandchildren Marlee, Claire, Adalynn, and Gabriel, and many nieces and nephews and many cousins.
Catherine was predeceased by daughter Carlynne Williams and sister, Ruby.
By Catherine’s request, cremation will take place. Family & Friends are welcomed to attend a graveside service to be held at 11:00 AM on June 10th, at Wilson’s Beach Community Cemetery. Pastor Randy Harris officiating. A reception will follow at the Wilson’s Beach Pentecostal Church
