Obituary of Reg Robicheau

ROBICHEAU REG - Peacefully, with his family by his side, at the Charlotte County Hospital on Thursday, October 5th, 2017; Reg Robicheau, husband of Gerri (Holliday) Robicheau of St. Andrews, NB. Born in St. Stephen; Reg is the son of the late Reginald Walter & Doris (Brown) Robicheau. Surviving in addition to his wife Gerri are his children, Susan Smith (Bruce) of Halifax, NS; Keith (Kathryn) of North Bay, ON; Karen Anderson (Todd) of Calgary, AB; Laurie Rans (Zig) of Quispamsis, NB; Lynn Farmakoulas (John) of New River Beach, NB; ten grandchildren: Bryn & Drew Smith(Tulsa); Neil & Vanessa Robicheau; Cole Anderson; Sofija, Benjamin, and Julija Rans; Travis & Matthew Wadlin (Victor); three great grandchildren: Abigail & Breeann Smith, and Zachary Wadlin. Reg was predeceased by his grandson Ryan Anderson and his sister Judy. Reg worked for the Department of Fisheries & Oceans at the Biological Station in St. Andrews, NB for 35 years. He served his community as a member of the Town Council; he volunteered with the Lions Club along with other volunteer activities and projects, including serving his church on the Parish Council. Reg contributed significant time building the church hall as well as upkeep. In his retirement, Reg loved spending time with family at the camp on Digdeguash Lake. He had a passion for growing his vegetable garden; enjoyed a bit of fishing and also kept busy doing woodworking. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 9th, 2017 at 12:00 noon at the Church of Saint Andrew Catholic Church, King Street, St. Andrews, NB. Rev. Gerry White as celebrant. A reception will immediately follow downstairs in the parish hall. The burial will take place at St. Andrews Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church during a time of visitation on Sunday from 4 – 6 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
