Obituary of Eilo Christian Andersen
ANDERSEN SKIP - At the Charlotte County Hospital on Friday October 28th, 2022; Eilo Christian “Skip” Andersen, husband of the late Angie Andersen. Born in Copenhagen, Denmark; he is the son of the late Jens Christian & Elna Johanna Andersen.
Skip Lived and worked in Toronto for many years, specifically with the Toronto Police Dept, first as a parking officer then for many years as a special constable. He moved to St. Stephen in a desire to be close to family.
Skip was a veteran and served with the Canadian Armed Forces. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion St. Stephen Branch #9.
Skip is survived by his daughter Judy Andersen, his son Chris Andersen (Lori) all of St. Stephen, NB, grandchildren Tanya, Amanda, Lisa (Darryl), Michelle (Eddie), great grandchildren Anthony, Markis & Mehkai, Camille, Zoe, Sophia, Ayden, Morgan, Serenity, Alex, Marsha & Travis, one sister Tove Nielsen of Horsens, Denmark, several nieces and nephews, John, Kirsten, Mette, Lone and Lars(deceased) and their many children, all in Horsens Denmark
He was predeceased by his first wife Florence Halvorson.
By Skip’s request there will be no formal service, however friends may gather with the family for a time of celebration and tribute on Monday, October 31st, 2022 from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St. Stephen, NB E3L 2B2 (506 – 466 – 3110)A tribute to a veteran will begin at 4:00 pm.
