Obituary of Ellen D. Foster
FOSTER ELLEN D. – At the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, October 22nd, 2022; Ellen Doreen (McLaughlin) Foster. Born in Lawrence Station,NB; she is the daughter of the late Russell & Mary (Johnson) McLaughlin.
Ellen worked for over 20 years for Lady Beaverbrook as her housekeeper. She then worked for 8 years with the Motor Inn in St. Andrews, NB and then on to Connors Bros until her retirement.
Ellen thoroughly enjoyed times with her family, her children and grandchildren were the world to her. Known as Nate Nan to her beloved great grandchildren.
Ellen is survived by her daughter Charlotte Foster (Martin) of Musquash, NB, her son Robert (Sabrina) of Andersonville, NB, grandchildren Jamie (Ashley), Calvin, Martin Jr.(Rose),Dawson, and Brianna, 13 great grandchildren, brother Leo (Beatrice)and chosen brother Larry, both of Lawrence Station, NB.
Ellen was predeceased by her two sisters Phyllis & Edie and a brother Phillip.
By Ellen’s request cremation will take place, however friends will be welcomed to attend a graveside service in celebration of her life on Saturday, October 29th, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Bocabec Cemetery. Pastor Jody MacBeth officiating. A reception will immediately follow in the Bocabec Hall.
In lieu of flowers donations to Canadian Diabetes Association, NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family. On line condolences to the family or donations can be made at www.humphreysfh.com
