Fleet, Shirley Ann (Young)
Passed Peacefully at Charlotte County Hospital on Monday June 13,2022 at the age of 64. She was the
Beloved Wife of 38 years Loren Fleet, Cherished Mother of Amy Dupont (Martin), Lacresha Ferris (Mark),
Katrina Cortes (Josh) Adored Grandmother (MAM) of Brooklynn, Kaidyn, Caleb, Tyson, Eric & Jolene.
Shirley is survived by her Sibling’s, Marion Young, Roger Young and Gary Young as well as Many Nieces
and Nephews. Shirley will be dearly missed by many close friends. Predeceased by her parents Everette
and Alberta Young and her Siblings, Michael Young, Eric Young, Robert young, and Redford Young.
Shirley was the right hand of Loren through all life’s adventures from, Dulsing to working on the ferry, to
raising the kids and welcoming their adored grand children. She was an Excellent Mother and Mam to
her Family and took pride in loving them! Shirley was an incredibly hard worker, never showing any sign
of weakness in anything she did. That includes her battle with Cancer. She had a brave face in every
challenge she took on! Everyone who knew her would testify that she was a true spitfire. Shirley was a
dedicated Gardener and loved anything outdoor. Her passion for gardening showed with her award-
winning gardens and ability to grow anything. Mama Shirl was loved by many in the community and will
be terribly missed by many. Especially her family! Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life
will be Held on August 13, 2022 at 53 Demonts Ave St Andrews and a Grave side Service on August 20 th
In Grand Manan. Care entrusted to Humphreys Funeral Home (20 Marks St, St. Stephen, NB E3L 2B2
