To Carl, Mark and family, « matante Yvonne » as she was called by my family, was a very special and dear friend. Although there was no blood relation, we all loved Yvonne as if she was one of the family. Hans and Yvonne met my parents in Edmundston, when both couples were new parents. The friendship was to be one that would endure distance and the passage of time. We will remember her laughter, her smiling eyes and her love for the simpler things in life. We will particularly miss having her call us « love ». She was a true friend to many, very caring and very generous with her time, not only within her circle of friends, but also within her community. She truly enjoyed her « golden years ». My family and I hope you will find comfort in knowing how many lives she touched. Yvonne will be missed, but never forgotten. Take care of each other during this time of great loss.
