We were so sorry to hear about John’s passing. Our sincere condolences. Although I hadn’t chatted with John in quite some time, I worked with John a short period in 1988 at the Algonquin when the Food and Beverage Program was taught there. I was administration support to the instructors. John had quite the sense of humour and was a great person to work with.
Thinking of the family.

My condolences to John'so family.
I have known John for several years through the Garcelon Civic Centre aqua stretch program. I have enjoyed many interesting chats with John in and out of the pool and often in the sauna. We talked of family, work, politics and world travels. He will be greatly missed by our regular pool gang. Sandra Brown

So sorry to hear of John’s passing. I had the privilege of having John as an instructor, the first year he taught in St. Andrews.
I enjoyed running into him over the years. I will always remember him speaking so proudly of his wife and children.

My prayers and thoughts go to his family and loved ones. It was more than a privilege to have met Mr Prince (1987-1989) back in St Andrew's, his peculiar, but sharp sense of humour, always brightened my day before, during, and after attending his classes. Rest in Peace my friend.

I am so sorry for your loss Caroline and family. John was an inspiration to me. I was privileged to have him as in an instructor in food and beverage and his training was a huge part of my career. I was honoured to be the person to fill his role when he retired. He inspired many and will be missed. Cheers to you Mr. Prince! Kim Fillmore Garron

I am so sorry for your loss. I was a student of Mr. Prince from 1992 to 1994 and a colleague in 2004 before he retired from NBCC. He knew so much about the hospitality industry and freely shared this with his students. He was part of a team that help many of us have the foundations to be successful in the hotel/restaurant industry. I will lift a glass this evening in his memory.

I was very sorry to learn of John’s passing. He and I started at the College within days of each other in 1984, and he was a great co-worker and a true professional at what he did. I also have several vivid memories of sailing with John, including one cold October evening when he sat happily at the helm of his boat while John Ferguson and I flopped like reptiles in the mud on the shore as we tried to pull the boat through the channel into the harbour, against strong wind and an outgoing tide. I send our sincerest condolence to the family.
