Hooper, David Eugene
David Eugene Hooper passed away peacefully in his sleep at Charlotte County Hospital on Tuesday, May 4, 2022. He was born to the late Mabbery and Marion Hooper of Back Bay N.B. on March 12, 1942. Dearly beloved husband of Lois Wilby Hooper. Cherished father of Ron Arseneau (Judy) of Saint John NB, David Hooper (Tammy) of Thamesford ON and Doug Hooper (Cindy) of Grande Prairie AB. Adored grandfather of Billy (Vanessa), Danny, Benjamin, Samantha, Kurtis, Brett, Lindsay and Bailey. Great-grandfather of Natalia, Tsee, Baauer, Hudson and Eleanor. Survived by his sister-in-law Frances Charters and his many nieces & nephews. Predeceased by his grandson Mark Arseneau. David was the kindest, most generous man, a loving husband, father and dearly loved by his whole family. The family wishes to thank the staff at Charlotte County Hospital for their kind and compassionate care. Cremation has taken place; a memorial gathering to celebrate David’s life will be held on Saturday May 14, 2022 from 1-5pm at the James E. McGibbon Memorial Hall (20 Moores Mills Road Moores Mills NB). Arrangements have been entrusted to Humphreys Funeral Home (20 Marks St. St. Stephen NB E3L2B2).
