Uncle David was a kind, gentle man with a smile that was contagious. He loved to talk and would strike up a conversation with anyone and made many friends along his travels. He loved music and singing… he would rehearse his songs and sing at the Legion and country jams. He will be missed on the Ridge and by all who knew and loved him. God Bless you David xo Love Farren and Shelley

Most of my memories with Uncle David have a background sound of music being played . He loved singing along to any song that was playing and he very much enjoyed telling stories. Every time he saw me he greeted me with a “how ya doing dear?”. Sometimes he mixed my name up with my sisters but he always knew who I was, even if the time between visits was lengthy. My uncle David was the kindest, sweetest man who always worked hard for what he had. I’ll miss you David, but I know you are at peace now and reunited with your siblings. The last of 8, the baby.. I know Gram was so excited to see you. Forever in our hearts xo

Uncle David was a friend to all. Strong willed comes to mind but, his "gift to gab" empowered him to mingle with complete strangers and walk away as friends. Music and dance was one of his loves and pre-Covid music jams was where you could usually find him. He was loved by so many and will be missed!
