Obituary of Jack Logan
LOGAN W. JACK - At St. Joseph’s Hospital, in Saint John, NB, on Wednesday, March 30th, 2022; Weldon Jack Logan, husband of Nancy (Goodman) Logan of Oak Bay, NB.
Born in Saint John, NB, Jack is the son of the late Bartholomew & Myrtle Logan.
For many years Jack was self employed. He was the owner of Logan’s Paving Co. Jack thoroughly enjoyed working with wood and would endeavour to always make something different and unique. Jack could also be found at farmers’ markets around Charlotte County selling Jack’s Jams & Jellies.
Jack was an antique car enthusiast and could be seen around some car shows with his 51 Crossley.
He was a longtime dedicated member of the Knights of Pythias #61 Milltown.
Surviving in addition to his wife Nancy are his daughters Cathy Francis of French Village, NB and Susan Smallman (James) of Saint John, NB, 2 step children, Susanne Heinzman (Gregg) and Douglas Anglin; all of the United States, 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren.
Jack was predeceased by one son Jack Jr. and one daughter Wendy Hatfield.
A memorial service in celebration of Jack’s life will be held on Monday, April 4th, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Union Street Atlantic Baptist Church in St. Stephen, NB. Rev. Angela Wade officiating.
A reception will immediately follow in the church hall. The family will receive friends at the church during a time of visitation from 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers donations to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. On line condolences to the family or donations can be made at www.humphreysfh.com
