Obituary of Marilyn F. Wry
WRY, MARILYN F. – Passed away peacefully at the Campobello Lodge on Monday, January 17th, 2022; Marilyn Faye (Newman) Wry, wife of the late Glennie Wry. Born in Wilson’s Beach, NB on January 24, 1929; she is the daughter of the late Clarence & Flora Newman.
Marilyn served as a missionary for 55 years in Bolivia. She moved back to Campobello in 2013. She was a member of Wilson’s Beach United Baptist Church.
Marilyn is survived by her two sons, Borden Wry Newman (Ana) of Fresno, California, USA, Dan Wry (Martha) of Sackville, NB, and daughter Jo-Ann Johnson (Steven) of Strawberry, Arizona, USA, 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Marilyn was predeceased by her husband Glennie Wry, brother Bud Newman and sister Norma Matthews of Wilson’s Beach.
By Marilyn’s request, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will take place at Wilson’s Beach Baptist Church on Saturday, June 11th, 2022 at 2:00 pm. Ed Sealy officiating.
