Ken and I have been friends since we were 16 or 17 years old and would continue our friendship after he moved to Ontario using phone, internet, email or what ever method we had at hand. And the usual subject was music. We both began playing together and both had a goal to learn every Beatles song we could, and we continued with that every time we got together. When Ken came up to Saint John we would meet up and after he had conducted his business we would head over to Long & MaQuade and spend time in the quiet room trying out guitars and talking about doing an event of music on the Island. I could go on for a long time talking about Ken and the joy he brought on so many occasions through our 58 years of friendship. Ken, I will see you when the Lord calls me, but until then I will Truely miss you.

Ken was an amazing friend, a wonderful musician and a true and lover of life. You, my dear friend will be missed here on earth and I am so happy to know I will see you again with no pain on the other side. As you told me once when we talked one day, " Don't cry because it's over smile because it happened" but at this time there are some tears that you are gone.
Thinking of you all.

I am absolutely honored to have spent so much time with Ken these past 2 years. He loved telling me everything about about his life. Especially his family. We cooked together, laughed together lots and shed a few tears as well. The card games, and music will never be forgotten. He was a Gem. I'm so sorry for the families loss.
