Obituary of Daniel A. Stewart
Daniel Andrew Stewart - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Daniel Andrew Stewart at the age of 58. Daniel passed away peacefully at home surrounded by friends and family, in Tower Hill on Sunday, August 7th, 2016 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Daniel Andrew Stewart husband of Lisa(Poirier) Stewart of Tower Hill, NB. Born in St. Stephen NB, on May 31, 1958., he was the son of the late Jerome and Olive (Small) Stewart. Daniel worked as a carpenter for the last 30 years. He was an active member of the Atlantic Regional Council of Carpenters and Millwrights. Surviving in addition to his wife Lisa are: his daughter Melisa (William) Beliwicz; his son Tyler Stewart; his grandsons Ethan and Darian Beliwicz; his sisters Helena Stewart, Marie Smith (Jerry Hanson), Louise Jackson; his brothers Douglas (Theresa) Stewart and Glendon Stewart; numerous nieces, nephews and friends that were absorbed into his close knit family. Predeceased by his brothers Vincent (Mary Jean Adams) Stewart, Robert (Brenda) Stewart; his sister Glenna Stewart, his nephews Allan Stewart and James Jackson, his niece Tara McCray and his grandson Jerome Beliwicz. Daniel was a very generous soul, always ready to help anyone with any needs regardless of the self sacrifices required. He was hard working while managing to never take himself too seriously. He loved to laugh and joke in an effort to make others smile. By Daniel’s request cremation will take place. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation on Wednesday August 10th, 2016 from 7-9 pm at Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St. Stephen, NB, E3l 2B2 (506-466-3110). The memorial service in celebration of Daniel’s life will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 2:00 pm. The interment will take place at the RollingDam United Cemetery with a reception to follow from Daniel’s home, 1260 Board Road, Tower Hill, NB. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Daniel can be made to Charlotte County Cancer Society or to the Charlotte County SPCA.
