Obituary of Garfield Spetz

Garfield (Garf) Scott ( 1937 – 2020)  Spetz passed away in St. Andrews – by  the  Sea, NB, on July 22nd , 2020, with his wife Pamela, by his side.
     
A professional hockey player, a keen golfer, world traveler, journalism degree, photographer,model railroader, consummate reader, Rodeo junkie and a political “hack”…
     
A private, loyal and highly ethical individual --- always humble about his achievements.
    
His Swedish/prairie upbringing resulted in his many good qualities: compassion, respect of others, tolerance and decisiveness. With his ability to listen and to be objective, Garf was a mentor to colleagues, friends, and family --- your secret was safe with him….
    
His cowboy stature (hat & boots) exuded his gentle kindness and humility ---  a true gentleman.
