Obituary of Geri Shannon
SHANNON GERALDINE M. – On Sunday, July 26th, 2015; peacefully in the presence of her family; Geraldine “Geri” (Fraser) Shannon of St. Stephen, NB. Born in Charlotte County she was the daughter of the late Frederick & Evelyn (Libby) Fraser. A loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt she will be dearly missed by her one daughter Patsy Merchant (Blair) of Chamcook, NB, John of Tower Hill, NB, Michael Simpson (Wanda) of Upper Waweig, NB, Chris and Roland (Debbie), all of Tower Hill, NB, her grandchildren Jason, Rolie, Alicia & Keith, Gary, Christopher, Kyle and Abagail, 3 great grandchildren, her brothers and sisters, Donald & Merna, Roy & Ruth, David, Phillip & Darlene, Marie & George, several, nieces , nephews and cousins. Geri was predeceased by her husband Roland Patrick Shannon, sisters Vera, Phyllis, and brothers Frederick, Bernard, Clayton & Eugene. By Geris’ request there will be no visitation or service. Family & friends will gather at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Old Ridge, NB, on Sunday, August 16th, 2015 at 2:00 pm. The family would like to take this opportunity to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to Judy Cleghorn, nurses and staff of Extra Mural – St Stephen and the staff of Home Support for kindness and compassion shown to Geri and her family during these last few months. It will always be remembered. In lieu of flowers donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
