Obituary of Rene Murray
MURRAY RENE - At the Charlotte County Hospital on Sunday, April 19th, 2015; Mary Alexandrine “Rene” (Carrier) Murray, wife of Kenneth Murray of St. Stephen, NB. Born in Nashcreek, NB she is the daughter of the late John & Mary (Demspey) Carrier. Rene worked for 25 years with the Connors Fish plant in Black’s Harbour as a sardine packer. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother Rene will be lovingly missed by her husband Ken, 2 daughters Roxanne Justasen of Toronto, ON, Vanessa Feeney (Jeremiah) of Machias,Maine, son Christopher Gaudett (Paula) of Toronto, ON, 3 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, 2 brothers Wayne (Jean) of Beaver Harbour, NB and Joey (Patsy) of Pennfield, NB, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Rene was predeceased by her son Derek, and 2 sisters Theresa and Sarah Anne. Resting at Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St Stephen, NB E3L 2B2 (506 … 466 … 3110) from where the family will receive friends during a time of visitation on Wednesday from 2 … 4 & 7 … 9 pm. The funeral service in celebration of her life will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday April 23rd, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. A reception will immediately follow in the funeral home Community Room and Reception Centre. The interment will take place at a later date in Milltown Catholic Cemetery. For those who wish donations to a charity of the donors’ choice would be appreciated by the family.
