Obituary of Sandra Mae Goving

GOVING SANDRA M. … At St. Joseph’s Hospital in Saint John, NB on Friday, July 15th, 2016; Sandra Mae (Newman) Goving. Born on Campobello Island, she is the daughter of the late Earle & Florence (Thurber) Newman. Sandra taught for over twenty years on Campobello. Prior to that, she had moved away for a period of time and taught school in various locations in New Brunswick and Quebec. She retired in 1995 after teaching for 35 years. Sandra was predeceased by her parents, brother Keith Newman and sister Barb Newman. She is survived by her sister in law, Irene Newman (Porter), nieces, nephew, grand nieces, grand nephews, great grand nieces and great grand nephews. There will be a graveside service for Sandra on Tuesday, July 19th, 2016 at 3:00 pm at the Old Wilson's Beach Cemetery, all are welcome. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family.
