Obituary of Bob Haley
HALEY, ROBERT E. - At the Charlotte County Hospital on Sunday, December 7th, 2014; Robert “Bob” Eugene Haley, husband of Sheila (Appleby) Haley of Barter Settlement, NB. Born in St Stephen he is the son of the late Howard & Eileen (Williams) Haley. Bob was a graduate of St. Stephen High School and went on to attend NBCC in St Andrews where he received his electricians certificate. In Bobs’ early years he worked for McSorley’s Electricial in St. Stephen ; then went on to work for the local school district for many years serving as the electrician for all of Charlotte County, retiring 6 years ago. Those who knew Bob; knew of his love for hunting & fishing and his endearing love for his dog Jill. Surviving in addition to his wife Sheila of 36 years, are his children Robert Bartlett of Timmins, Ontario, Daniel Bartlett of Little Ridge,NB Sandra Anthony of Woodland, Maine,6 grandchildren, Billie … Jo Robertson,Amanda Eagan,Savannah Davis,Christopher Bartlett,Cali Anthony, Brad Anthony,3 great grandchildren, Cody, Dawson, Hannah, sister Elizabeth Richardson (Lloyd) of St Stephen, several nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be no visitation however friends are welcomed to attend a memorial service to be held in the chapel of Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St Stephen, NB E3L 2B2 (506 … 466 … 3110) on Wednesday, December 10th at 11:00 am. Archdeacon John Matheson officiating. A reception will follow in the Humphreys Reception Centre. Interment will take place in the spring in St. Stephen Rural Cemetery.
