Obituary of Thomas A. W. Taylor
TAYLOR TOM - At the Charlotte County Hospital on Tuesday, September 30th, 2014; Dr. Thomas Alexander Wade Taylor husband of Esma (Hitchcock) Taylor of St. Andrews, NB. Born in Edmunston, NB he is the son of the late Wade & Mary Taylor. Tom received an undergraduate degree from UNB Fredericton, then went on to study Dentistry at the University of Dalhousie in Halifax, NS from where he graduated in 1963. He pursued his career as a Dentist that spanned over 41 years, overseeing a practice in Halifax and St. Andrews retiring from there in 2004. While in Halifax, he taught Dentistry at Dalhousie University. Surviving in addition to his wife Esma are his three children, 1 daughter Lezlie LeBlanc (Michael) of Chamcook, NB, 2 sons Kevin (Peggy) of Florida, and Tom (Sharon) of St. Andrews, NB, 6 grandchildren, Kyle, Lauren, Megan, Jordan, Anna and Aidan. Tom was predeceased by a sister Jean Neve. Friends are welcomed to attend a graveside service to be held at St. Andrews Rural Cemetery on Friday, October 3rd, 2014 at 2:00 pm, with Canon John Matheson officiating. A reception will follow at the W.C. O'Neill Arena in the dining room. In lieu of flowers donations to the St. Andrews Youth Centre c/o the St. Andrews Town Hall would be appreciated by the family.
