Obituary of Irma May Tassy

TASSY IRMA MAY (nee Bognar) Died peacefully at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, New Brunswick on Wednesday, September 24th, 2014, Irma May, wife of the late Joszef Emil Tassy (Eger, Hungary) was recently residing in Scotch Ridge, New Brunswick. Born 19th August, 1923 the daughter of the late Antal & Anna (Makkos) Bognar of Nesmely, Hungary. Irma is survived by her children Tony and Andrew Tassy of Kitchener, Ontario, Liz Tassy and spouse Bob Scott, Kathy Tassy of Calgary, Alberta, Maggie and spouse John Gall, granddaughter Suzanne Gall - Cox of Burlington, Ontario, Marg and John Kreller of Elmira, Ontario, Susan Tassy and spouse Lorcan Murphy of Scotch Ridge, New Brunswick, Andrew Tassy of Kitchener, Ontario. Irma is predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Antal, Eugene, John, Matilda, and Marika Bognar of Hungary. Irma was a faithful member of Holy Rosary Church in St Stephen and will be deeply missed by everyone she knew. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday September 29th, 2014 at Holy Rosary Church at 11:00 am with Rev. Paul Doucet as celebrant. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Wildlife Federation would be appreciated by the family.
