Obituary of Geraldine Westrup

WESTRUP GERALDINE - At the Campobello Lodge on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2014, Geraldine (Mitchell) Westrup, wife of the late Brian Westrup of Welshpool, NB. Born on Campobello she is the daughter of the late Horace & Alda (Hooper) Mitchell. Geraldine was a member of the North Road Baptist Church, for many years serving in many capacities. Geraldine resided in Germany for a number of years with her late husband, while he served with the armed forces. For 40 years of her life she lived in Vancouver, working for the University of BC. Geraldine is survived by her sister Dianne Kuenzl (Gerhard) of Mississauga, Ontario, nephews Craig, Dennis, Michael, nieces Lisa, Valerie, Kim and Beverly. She was predeceased by one sister Shirley Masuda and her brother Sheldon “Buddy” Mitchell. Resting at North Road Baptist Church, Welshpool, NB; from where the service will be held on Friday, June 6th, 2014 at 2:00 pm. The interment will follow in North Road Cemetery followed by a reception in the church hall. The family will receive friends at the church during a time of visitation on Thursday evening from 7 - 9 pm. In lieu of flowers donations to the Kidney Foundation or charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
