Obituary of Katheryn Faye Anthony
ANTHONY KATHERYN F. - At the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, May 20, 2016; Katheryn Faye ( Mitchell) Anthony, wife of the late Bennett Ford Anthony of Wilson’s Beach, NB. Born on Campobello, she is the daughter of the late John James & Georgie (Harvey) Mitchell. A resident of the island all of her life she was a longtime member of Wilsons Beach United Baptist Church. A loving and dedicated mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she dedicated her life to them all, as well as welcoming all children in to her home throughout her life. Many remember Katheryn for the multitude of baked goods served to, and enjoyed by many who came to visit her. Katheryn is survived by her children Stephen Dwight (Cheryl) of Bayside, NB, Boo (Verona) of Campobello,NB, Kennard Bennett (Pamela) of Saint John, NB, Phillip Ross (Susan) of Quispamsis, NB, Wanda (Bill) Brown of Robbinston, ME, 2 brothers … in … law Clinton, of Saint John,NB and Merrill of Quispamsis,NB, sister … in … law Shirley Mitchell of Campobello, NB, 10 grandchildren Tyler Anthony, Tiffany Anthony, John Wentworth, Susan Provencher, Julia Anthony, David Anthony, Shaun Anthony, Stephanie Anthony, Tim Anthony, and Lisa Belyea, 16 great grandchildren Bennett Anthony, Hayden Anthony, Owen David Carroll, Ellie Cox, Bennett Cox, Jack Surles, Zachary Wentworth, Sarah Wentworth, Kendra Anthony, Kaleb Anthony, John Moores, Joseph Moores, Hannah Anthony, Emma Anthony, Luke Belyea and Samuel Anthony Belyea, several nieces and nephews. Katheryn was predeceased by her great granddaughter Raegan Anthony, sisters Mary Lank and Margaret Sprague, brothers Sumner Mitchell, Robert Mitchell and Melvin Mitchell. By Katheryn’s request cremation has taken place. The funeral service in celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, May 24th, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Wilson’s Beach United Baptist Church. John Wry officiating. The interment will follow in Old Wilsons Beach Cemetery followed by a reception in the church hall. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation at the church on Monday evening from 7 … 9 pm.
