Obituary of Gladys Tennant
Peacefully at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen on October 28th, 2013, wife of the late Robert Tennant of St. Andrews, NB. She was born in England, daughter of the late John and Gladys (Prior) Simpson. Gladys (British Bulldog) loved telling stories of her days spent in the British Armed Forces and surviving WWII. She was an avid Bingo player and loved to knit, read books and watch television. She is survived by special friends, Mered and Mildred Hatt and family. She was predeceased by her son, Ian Paul and brother, Ian John Simpson. By Gladys’ request cremation will take place. A memorial service in celebration of her life will be held on Friday, November 1st, at 2:00 pm at All Saints Anglican Church, King Street, St. Andrews, NB. The interment will follow in St. Andrews Rural Cemetery. Donations to the Kidney Foundation of NB or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
