Obituary of E. Anne Webber
WEBBER ANNE - At the Charlotte County Hospital on Thursday, September 12th, 2013; Elsie Anne Webber of St. Stephen, NB. Born in St. Stephen she is the daughter of the late Robert & Elsie (Barter) Webber. An accomplished organist & pianist, Anne played throughout Charlotte County for various church denominations. She had an amazing love of music and took part in organizing various fundraisers around St. Stephen. She enjoyed going to nursing homes, seniors complexes and hospital units sharing her love of music. She was a teacher for almost 19 years, throughout District 10. In later years she worked with the Atlantic Salmon Federation retiring after 5 years. Anne is survived by her children Margaret (Stephen Smith) Duchesneau of Carsonville, NB, Robert (Madeline McDaniel) Duchesneau of Fredericton, NB, William Duchesneau (Kenia), Susan Gallant (Andy) all of St. Stephen, NB, daughter-in-law Tina Clarke (John) of Fredericton, NB, 15 grandchildren, Jeff (Katie), Mike (Summer), Trish (Tim), Tiffany, Jordaan(Nicole), Chris, Andrea, Damian, Jennifer & Kevin of Cuba, Jarod, Alex, Katie, Malin and Elizabeth, 7 great grandchildren, Ashley, Jenna, Ben, Ryan, Will, Xavier and Paul, Anne’s brother David Webber (Fran) of New Landon, Missouri, USA, three aunts, several nieces, nephews and cousins & many wonderful friends. Resting at Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St. Stephen, NB E3L 2B2 (506–466–3110) from where the service will be held in the chapel on Monday, September 16th, 2013 at 3:00 pm. Canon John Matheson officiating, assisted by Rev. Bill Morton. The internment will follow in St. Stephen Rural Cemetery followed by a reception at the Humphreys Community Room & Reception Centre. The family will receive friends at the funeral home during a time of visitation on Sunday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 pm. A tribute service conducted by the Order of the Eastern Star St. Stephen Chapter #8 will be held on Sunday evening at the funeral home at 7:00 pm.
