Obituary of Helen Jean Anderson
ANDERSON HELEN J. … At the Charlotte County Hospital on Monday, January 7th, 2013; Helen Jean (Little) Anderson, wife of the late George Anderson of St Stephen, NB. Born in St Stephen, she is the daughter of the late Elmer & Jean (Polley) Little. For many years Helen worked with the Government of Canada with the National Employment Service and Customs. She was a longtime member of Kirk McColl United Church and was a longtime and faithful member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Helen is survived by her daughter Carol Butland (Fred) of St Stephen, NB, 2 sons Jim (Sydney) of Woodstock, NB, Eric (Beverley) of Riverview, NB,, one sister Irene DelMonaco (Peter) of Calais, Maine, 6 grandchildren, Rick Butland (Beth), Sharon Caswell, Adam Anderson(Lauren), Jarret & Gail Anderson, Meaghan Rose (Jeff) and Meredith Anderson (Kirk), 7 great grandchildren, Ryan & Taylor, Brady, Brynn, Elliot, Ericha & Olivia, several, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by sisters Ethel Crompton, Katherine Groom and brother John Anderson. By Helens’ request cremation has taken place. A memorial service in celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, January 12th, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St Stephen, NB E3L 2B2 (506 … 466 … 3110). A reception will immediately follow in the funeral home community room and reception centre. The interment will take place in the spring in St Stephen Rural Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home during a time of visitation on Saturday from 12:30 pm until service time.
