Obituary of Jeanellen May Fletcher
Fletcher, Jeanellen M. - At the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, April 7, 2012 after a courageous six year battle with cancer Jeanellen May (Stanley) Fletcher passed away peacefully surrounded by those who loved her deeply. She drifted off to be with the lord and her beloved dad, the late Blair Stanley. For many years Jeanellen worked as a guide/museum technician at the Roosevelt Campobello International Park. She touched the lives of many people with her smile and generosity. She was known to many as a second mother. She was well loved by all the children of Campobello Island and Lubec. Surviving in addition to her husband Stanley are her children Bryce Fletcher and James Robbins at home, Michelle Robbins (Joel Riggs) of Lubec, Maine, and Beth Searles (Dwayne) of St. George, NB, sisters Paula Hamilton (Chris) and Janna (Lauris) Lahey all of St. Stephen, NB, brothers Clyde Stanley of St. Stephen, NB and Myles Stanley (Lori) of Campobello, many special nieces, nephews and cousins. Resting at the Wilson's Beach United Pentecostal Church from where the services will be held on Thursday April 12th, 2012 at 2:00 pm. The interment will follow at the Wilson's Beach Community Cemetery followed by a reception in the church hall. On Wednesday April 11, 2012 from 7 - 9 pm the family welcome all those who loved Jeanellen for a time of visitation.
