Obituary of Robert H. Lank
LANK ROBERT H. … Unexpectedly in Candia, New Hampshire, on Sunday April 3rd, 2016; Robert Hilton Lank. Born in Lubec Maine, USA; he is the son of Janice Lank of Campobello, NB and the late Raymond C. Lank. Robert grew up in Welshpool and attended CICS (Campobello Consolidated School), as well as Word of Life Bible Institute in Schroon Lake, NY. In his youth he was a member of the first NBIAA “Class A “ Provincial Championship Basketball Team from Campobello, winning in both 1977 and 1978. He was also a member of North Road Baptist Church. After completing his education in New York, he settled in Raymond NH for over 25 years. He was a dedicated and active member of his church. Robert was employed with Welchs Cannery for many years on Campobello, up until he moved to the United States. He worked with Velcro Manufacturing in New Hampshire the past few years and worked in the nursing field as a private duty nurse, as well as at a nursing home for many years. For the past 20 years Robert also travelled and ministered in song as part of his personal mission throughout New England and New Brunswick. He was best known for his amazing example of kindness and servant hood. He volunteered in the food pantry ministry, as well as volunteered with 1269 café s Homeless Ministries. In addition to this he looked for ways to minister to students at North Point Bible College. He was well known to his friends for his beautiful smile his generous spirit warm hugs and giving heart; as well as being an avid Patriots fan. Surviving in addition to his mother Janice are his brothers and sisters, Karlene Hood (Carl) of Lubec, ME, Clayton A. Lank (Terry) of Campobello, Bonnie Rogers (Roy) of Waweig, NB, Patsy Malloch (Kennard) of Campobello, nephews Jared, Kristan, Tanner, and Brandon, nieces, Chelsea, Madison, Danae, Amber, and Brittany, several great nieces and great nephew, aunts, uncles and cousins. Resting at North Road Baptist Church from where the celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, April 9th, 2016 at 3:00 pm. John Wry officiating, assisted by Pastor Gary Hamilton and Pastor Dan Jamer. The interment will follow in North Road Cemetery followed by a reception in the church hall. The family will receive friends at the church during a time of visitation on Friday from 6 … 9 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Edith lank Camp, Living Waters Camp, in Danforth Maine, First Assembly of God in Auburn NH and North Road Baptist Church.
