Obituary of Charmayne Tucker
TUCKER CHARMAYNE - Peacefully at Lincourt Manor in St. Stephen, NB, on Thursday, October 24th, 2019; Mila Charmayne (Greene) Tucker. Born in Wilson’s Beach, Campobello, NB; she is the daughter of the late Medley & Margaret (Mitchell) Greene. Charmayne worked for a period of years at Welch’s Sardine Factory on the island, until unexpected health changes of her first husband, directed her attention to raising her young family at home. A dedicated mother & grandmother, her passion was her children and her grandchildren. Charmayne is survived by her 6 children, her only daughter, Cindy Craig ( David) of Bonney River, NB, her 5 sons Lauris Lahey (Janna) of Heathland, NB, Roderick Lahey of Saint John, NB, Richard Lahey (Lori) of Little Ridge, NB, Lorne Lahey (Crystal) of Campobello, NB, and Robbie John Lahey (Diane) of Campobello, NB, 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Charmayne was predeceased by her first husband Burton Lahey and her second husband Samuel Tucker, and her 3 brothers Floyd Greene, Sheldon “Bud” Greene and Afton Greene. Cremation will take place. The family will be holding a private memorial in celebration of her life at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family would truly appreciate donations made to Lincourt Manor Nursing Home, St. Stephen, NB. The family would like to take this opportunity to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to Lincourt Manor, for the genuine care and kindness that they gave to Charmayne while she was in their care.
