Obituary of Margaret I. Greenlaw
GREENLAW MARGARET I.- At Lincourt Manor Nursing Home, St. Stephen, NB on Sunday, October 13th, 2019; Margaret Iva (DeWitt) Greenlaw; wife of George Greenlaw of Oak Bay, NB. Born in Perth Andover, NB, she is the daughter of the late Ansel & Ruth (Stephenson) DeWitt. Margaret worked for many years as an LPN with Passamaquoddy Lodge in St. Andrews as well as with the Charlotte County Hospital. She was a longtime member of Union Street Baptist Church, serving on a variety of committees. Surviving in addition to her husband George are her daughter Shelley and grandson Joseph, all of Oak Bay, NB,two sisters Lila DeWitt of Calgary Alberta, Linda Morrissey (John) of Aroostook, NB, six brothers Gene of Joliet Illinois, Malcom of Orting Washington, Tom (Shirley)of Carberry Manitoba, Doug (Elaine) of Sussex NB, Richard (Harriet) of Perth Andover NB, and Blaine of Aroostook NB, several nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service in celebration of Margaret's life will be held on Saturday, October 19th, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St Stephen, NB. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation from 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers donations to the Charlotte County Cancer Society or the Canadian Red Cross would be appreciated by the family.
