Obituary of Geneva A. Cunningham
CUNNINGHAM GENEVA A. – At the Passamaquoddy Lodge on Saturday June 8th, 2019; Geneva Agnes (Greenlaw) Cunnigham, wife of the late Burton Cunningham. Born in Bayside, NB she is the daughter of the late Ethan & Geneva (Cox) Greenlaw. Geneva was well known to her family and friends for having a great love and passion for quilting, both teaching and doing, which brought her many happy moments. Geneva is survived by her 2 sons Gordon(Bess),Verne(Gail) all of Bocabec, NB, 2 daughters, Karen Steffans of Newmarket,ON, and Darlene Woodland(Wayne) of Quispamsis, NB, 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren,4 sisters,Jean Campbell of Hatfield’s Point, NB, Muriel Cleghorn (Ronnie) of Bocabec, NB, Louise Dickison (Arden), Annie Dickison (Andrew) all of Riceville,NB, 4 brothers, Ethan of Merritt, BC, Walter (Geraldine) of Riverview, NB, Melvin (Rose),John(Marcia) all of Bayside, NB, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Geneva was predeceased by a sister Kathleen and her son – in – law Ron Steffens The funeral service in celebration of Geneva’s life will be held on Wednesday,June 12th, 2019; at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St Stephen, NB. Archdeacon John Matheson officiating. A reception will immediately follow in the funeral home reception centre followed by the interment at Bocabec Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home during a time of visitation on Tuesday from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
