Obituary of Dianne Louise Brown

Brown, Dianne Louise (Gaydasz)

Passed peacefully at the Eastern Medical Center in Bangor Maine on Monday, July 13, 2026, at the age of 77. Born in Taunton Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late John and Blanche Gaydasz.

She is survived by her husband Ralph Brown, children; Anthony Burgess (John), Jen Burgess, stepchildren; Cary Brown (Bonnie), Renee Brown (Wesley), grandchildren; Patricia Brown (Brian), Matthew Crank, Nathan Crank, Lilley Crank, Aiden Brown, Ethan Brown, great-grandchildren; Malcom and Betty.

Predeceased in addition to her parents by her cousins Ernest Milot and Edward Milot.

Dianne and Ralph rekindled a long-lost relationship in the late 1990s after Dianne moved to Ontario. In 2000, they made their home together on Campobello Island and were married in 2001.

Dianne had a passion for gardening and took great pride in maintaining three beautifully tended gardens at their home. During her travels around the island, she delighted in collecting unique rocks to add to her gardens. She also cherished visits to the White Mountains of New Hampshire.

A meticulous housekeeper, Dianne was known for keeping a beautiful home. She was also a dedicated partner, assisting Ralph with his income tax business for more than 20 years. Above all, Dianne was a devoted wife and loving mother who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Machias Hospital, especially Dr. Massad and Dr. K, as well as the team at Eastern Maine Medical Center, particularly Dr. Chang, for the exceptional care, kindness, and compassion shown to Dianne and her family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church (10 Catholic Cemetery Ln, Welshpool, NB E5E 1Y2) on Friday July 17, 2026, at 2:30 PM. Burial to follow at the Catholic Cemetery and a reception at the St. Anne’s Church Hall (76 North Rd Welshpool, NB E5E 1C2)
