Obituary of Kathie Archer
Archer, Enid Katherine “Kathie” (Morrison)
Passed away peacefully on Sunday, 28 June 2026, at Charlotte County Hospital.
Born in Kitchener, Ontario, Kathie was the beloved daughter of the late Ross and Enid (Thompson) Morrison.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 58 years, David Archer; her children, Stephanie Archer (Chris Baker), Greg Archer (Mari), and Jennifer Archer (Claude Roussel); and her cherished grandchildren, Esmé, Sebastian, Niilo, Nooa, Nuutti, Erika, and Lauren. She will also be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Kathie was predeceased by her siblings, John Morrison, Scott Morrison, and Heather Trusler.
Kathie had a lifelong passion for music and gardening, but above all, her devotion was to her family. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she found her greatest happiness in simply being together—sharing meals, celebrating milestones, or enjoying quiet moments in each other’s company. These treasured times created lasting memories that will be deeply cherished by all who knew and loved her.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Kathie’s life will be held at a later date.
For those who wish, donations in Kathie’s memory may be made to the St. Andrews Food Bank.
