Steve taught me a great deal during my years with AIS — lessons, perspectives, and values that have stayed with me and continue to serve me well every day. He was always willing to jump in and participate in our events, bringing such a warm spirit, kindness, and sense of humour wherever he went.
I’ll always remember how incredibly good-natured he was, even when he found himself taking more than a few cream pies to the face for the sake of a good cause and making others smile. That was just who Steve was — generous with his time, his energy, and his heart.
I feel truly grateful to have known and worked with him. He will be remembered very fondly.
