Very sorry to hear this news. Although I did not know Phillip personally....I remember him well from the summers he worked as a Flag man around town. When I worked on the front street, and he was working there, as they repaved the street....I was always impressed by how good he was at his job, and by how friendly he was to everyone. He went above and beyond in giving directions to the tourists. I told many people he was an Ambassador of Good Will, to visitors to our town. I will miss seeing him, and his friendly wave. Our community has lost a good member. He should have had many more years. My deepest condolences to all of his own family, and his sisters, on their great loss. RIP Phillip

Truly, gone too soon.
Many memories come flooding back, from seeing his father with little Phillip on his knee, driving down Pleasant Street (it was a different time back then..ha ha), to all of the times spent at his house with numerous friends, as well as, around the Milltown community with our friends, at arcades, stores, swimming pool, playing games in our youth, etc. I’m sure he shared a lot of these same memories with his family, and I hope the memories you’ve all made bring you comfort and peace.
My heartfelt condolences.

I became a solid friend to "Fillipe" (my nickname for him) back in 1984.I remember driving a car throughout the door yard as we were to young for licensing.
He was a GREAT friend of mine. I recently visited him and all he spoke of was his family.
I will forever miss Phil.
