My sympathies to the family in the loss of your Dad. He was a great guy and I have many fond memories of him in the 90s doing the renovations on my house. He & Shirley were always so cheery and happy and pleasant to see & chat with. Definitely a loss to whole community.

My fondest memories of Uncle Doug were while in Orillia we drove with Aunt Shirley to Magnetawan to find the Raaflaub relatives. What an adventure that was, full of laughs. On a visit fo St. Andrews both Uncle Doug, and Aunt Shirley made Joan, and I feel so welcome. Uncle Doug had a new GPS in his car, and wanted to show us how it worked so we drove over to P.E.I. for lobster. Best lobster I ever tasted! To my Raaflaub family my condolences on your loss of your Dad.❤️

We are so very sorry for your loss of a great man. We have so many memories of your parents - in New Brunswick when we visited and were so graciously made to feel right at home - at our home when they visited and we enjoyed their company so much, celebrating special events - and especially in Florida where we had so much fun together! Memories are so special when we lose those we love. May they comfort you during these hard days ❤️❤️
