It was a shock in 2008 to find out that I had a sister in New Brunswick.
Sharon came to Manitoba for a visit and stayed with us for a week. It was a lot of fun getting to know Sharon .
We arranged a house party filled with cousins, probably 25 people or so and Sharon was overwhelmed with so many people wanting to meet her.
Any worries, I had prior to her visit, slipped away when I discovered what a lovely sweet person she was.
We had a lot of fun exploring areas of the city to down memory lane for her, which I must say took a lot of research.
Sharon talked about her family with such love and shared various stories of the Joy that they brought her.
Unfortunately, I did not get to come to New Brunswick but we chatted on the phone a couple of times a month throughout the years.
I’m pleased to say I also often corresponded with Crystal who was as sweet as her mom , always keeping me informed of her Mother’s health.
I’m definitely going to miss those conversations and I know her children and grandchildren will miss their mother and grandmother. She is out of pain now and will join her dear husband Charlie you will be missed Sharon.
