It is with saddened hearts that the family of Florena Daggett, wife of the late Brock Sherman Daggett announces her passing which occurred on March 6,2026 at the Grand Manan Hospital, Grand Manan NB. Born on Grand Manan NB on May 6, 1955, she was a daughter of the late Ottawa and Hildred Benson.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, she was predeceased by her husband of 48 years and survived by her children: Brock Jr. (April), Sylas (Eva) and Martin; her grandchildren: Jackson, Drake, Paige, Kohen and Nash; three sisters; Charlotte Frost, Jacqueline (Tiny) Benson, Bonny Gaskill, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by 3 brothers and one sister.
Florena worked for Conners Brothers Limited, Surf Side Motel. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt who was loved by all. She could make anyone laugh, that was her gift, and we’re going to miss it, but will never forget.
A service of remembrance will be held 1:00 PM on Friday, March 13, 2026, at the Immanuel Family Church (749 Rte. 776, Grand Manan, NB E5G 3C) with Rev. Ward McComiskey officiating.
