
Obituary of Judy Evelyn Stephenson
It is with heavy hearts and fond memories that the family of Judy Evelyn Stephenson, 73, announce her unexpected passing on her birthday, March 7, 2026, at Lincourt Manor St. Stephen N.B.
Judy was born in 1953 in Fredericton N.B. to the late Murray and Marion (MacDonald) Stephenson. Judy is survived by one brother Murray (Pam) Stephenson, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Judy loved her family and will be dearly missed.
She also leaves behind a dear friend, Cathy O'Neill.
Judy began her working career in printing in Fredericton before relocating to St. Stephen in 1994 where she enjoyed working at the St. Croix Courier, Riverside Grocery and Mayfield Vet Clinic. Judy loved her cats, whether adopted or strays, she loved them all. She enjoyed gardening, travelling, shopping trips to her hometown of Fredericton and her T.V. Judy had a great sense of humour and was the life of the party on many occasions.
Judy was predeceased by her parents, two sisters Shirley Hanley and Patricia Rice, half siblings Laverne and Raymond Stephenson.
A special thank you to the caring staff of Lincourt Manor.
Cremation has taken place. A graveside service and internment with her parents in Fredericton will take place at a later date.
Judy, thank you for the memories, the love, and the joy you brought into our lives.
