Many condolences to Jan, Lisa, Catherine, and Scott on the passing of your husband and father. My husband and I were very privileged and blessed to have met Bob and Jan (a cousin of my father) in recent years. They invited us to their home for a lovely meal and visit and we spent a couple of hours chatting happily and learning some of the wonderful details of their life together. We met Lisa as well and it was lovely to have another distant cousin! I have yet to meet Catherine and Scott. Perhaps one day!
Bob was a very enthusiastic and energetic man it would seem, and he certainly had an extremely interesting life. I am not sure how one person could keep track of so many responsibilities and interests!
We are very sad to hear of his passing, and though we only knew him a short time, we are certain that he will be greatly missed. Thinking of the family at this time.
With love,
Marcus and Alison Cain

I just heard of Mr Wheeler's death today. The passage of time, sometimes, doesn't compute when one thinks of teachers from our past. We still think of them, frozen in time, as they were when we were young. As per usual, when young, you often don't appreciate how privileged one was. It was, certainly for me, a privilege to have Mr Wheeler as a teacher and as a volleyball coach. Extracurricular activities are such an important part of one's young life. Many teachers, Mr Wheeler included, devoted many hours of their time to students outside of class. Time that leaves a lasting impact. I often think of him and the time he devoted to his students. I have the kindest, warmest thoughts about him. I had a nice walk down memory lane with my sister. Thank you Bob. My condolences to the family.

Deepest condolences to Mr. Wheeler's family. As a former student and volleyball player of his in my younger years, he gave us guidance and inspiration that, on reflection, his knowledge in the classroom and on the volleyball court helped me pave my path as a coach. Thank You Mr. Wheeler.

Dear Jan and Family. I was saddened to hear from Sheila Holt about Robert's death. I enjoyed knowing Bob and had great conversations over the years on Tourism and Sustainability. He had so much knowledge. I learned a lot from him on Best Practices and Theories. I always thought I would get to see you both sometime in New Brunswick.
I send my deepest sympathy and that your wonderful memories will sustain you.
Thinking of you, Take Care.

I was very sorry to learn of Bob's passing. He was a great coach and teacher to me, for many years, and I want to send sincere condolences to his family. The last time I spoke to Bob was several years ago, as I called him to ask, of all things, the dimensions of a volleyball court.

It was always a pleasure to chat with Bob on the volleyball court or wherever we happened to meet. If anyone achieved half of what he did in his lifetime, then it would be a life well-lived. My sincere condolences to all his family.
