Obituary of James Carl Brown
Brown, James “Jim”
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our brother James Carl Brown on Monday, February 23, 2026, at the Charlotte County Hospital at the age of 58. Born in St. Stephen he was the son of the late Ralph and Marie (Scott) Brown.
He is survived by his siblings Fred Brown (Margie), Hazel Lindsay (Danny), Lisa Orme (Henry), John Brown, Gary Brown, Ada Reid (Bart), Debbie Brown, Arnold Brown, special niece Sabrina Lindsay (Bobby) and many other nieces and nephews.
Jim loved the outdoors, he would spend countless hours out in nature, walking, hunting, and fishing. Jim was always the first one to show up to any family gathering, any opportunity to get together with his family was a special moment for him.
The family wants to thank the nurses and staff from Extra Mural and the St. Stephen Hospital for their kind and compassionate care shown towards Jim.
Cremation has taken place; a private family ceremony will take place at the Lynnfield Cemetery.
For those who wish, donations to the Charlotte County Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
Online condolences to the family can be made at www.humphreysfh.com.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care and direction of Humphrey’s Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St. Stephen, NB E3L 2B2 (506-466-3110).

Remember the best times, the laughter, the song,
The good life I loved while I was strong”
