Obituary of Marion Alice Green

Green, Marion Alice (MacGregor)

Marion Alice Green (née MacGregor) passed peacefully on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Wauklehegan Manor, at the age of 92. Born in Renous, New Brunswick, Marion was the beloved daughter of the late Edith MacGregor. She was predeceased by her husband Douglas Green. 

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, June Greenlaw; her grandsons, Darrell Brown and Jeremy Brown (Cindy); and her in-laws, Winston Green, Gary Green, Burtis Green, and Mildred Green. Marion will also be fondly remembered by her special cousins, Peter MacGregor, Tammy Hepditch, Merton Pleadwell, and Margaret Riley.

In addition to her mother and husband Douglas, Marion was predeceased by her siblings, Herbert Richardson and Kathleen Richardson.

Marion was a talented and dedicated knitter, spending many years creating sweaters for the Whale Cove Knitters. She was an active and faithful member of Grand Harbour Baptist Church for many years. A quiet joy in her life was found in the company of her dogs, who were her constant companions, and in relaxing while watching her favourite game shows.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to Melissa Voutt for the compassionate care shown to Marion.

In keeping with Marion’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service held at this time.
